Eric Lapp started playing piano and organ by age 3, writing songs by age 5 and learned several other instruments (bass, guitar, drums, mandolin, banjo, tuba, clarinet, etc.) while growing up. From 1990-1991 he studied piano and classical guitar. He has produced and directed his own cable show, esotERICa (1991-92 and 1996), with steam of consciousness music and comedy
